Interfaith Outreach Services

AND THE WINNER IS… Well you missed it, but just like the Emmys and the Oscars, you can get the highlights here! May 3rd was the volunteer recognition dinner for the good and faithful souls who have committed a few hours each week to helping those in need who come to the doors of Interfaith Outreach Services (AKA Interfaith Ministries). This remarkable outreach organization is vital to the social, physical, spiritual, and mental health of your community. Your donations of canned goods and/or cash may seem like the old “drop in the bucket” but I can tell you, your drop keeps that bucket full! If you haven’t been over to Interfaith, ask one of the volunteers to show you around. It will only take a few moments, and it will make getting those cans to Mary easier, because you will have faces and stories to make your donations very real.

In 2017, your fellow parishioners contributed the following hours into this worthy organization: Gene G: 1-24

Helen: 75-99

Jack: 161

Mariel: 248

And the Volunteer of the Year Award goes to the very faithful and deserving Mary G with 538 hours. Thank you Mary for your tireless work on behalf of the poor and hungry of Wichita Falls! Your are truly Feeding HIs Sheep!
