As many of you know, Bishop Iker will be retiring at the end of this year. We are all very grateful for his leadership and ministry among us. At a Special Convention, which will be held at St. Vincent’s Cathedral on June 1, the Diocese of Fort Worth will elect a Bishop Coadjutor to assist Bishop Iker until he retires at the end of this year, after which the coadjutor will become the next bishop of our diocese. The Nominating Committee has just this past week released the names and profiles of four nominees. The profile of each nominee has been posted below (click on each image for the respective document). Our parish’s delegates would be interested to hear from our parishioners, and if anyone has any thoughts they would like to express regarding these nominations please feel free to contact us. More information on the process and timeline of important dates and events may be found here at the diocesan webpage.
