Stewardship means taking care of the gifts- the church's people and the church's building- that God has given us. This involves both participating in and improving our church's ministries to our people and our neighbors, and preserving our historic worship space. Our church's general fund is used to care for the beautiful people and buildings that have been entrusted to our keeping.

If you would like to tithe electronically, you can use the Paypal button below to give a one-time gift or to set up recurring gifts to the General Fund. If you would like to discuss planned giving with us, please contact the church office to set up an appointment.

The Capital Campaign

Church of the Good Shepherd has just launched an exciting capital campaign: Give Me Shelter. Our objective is to provide the capital needed for necessary repairs to the church building (roof, doors, parish hall) and for establishing a dedicated fund to finance future repairs. Our goal is to raise $100,000 over the course of thirty six months. Please consider joining us in preserving this historic and beautiful jewel of a church. We have a pledge level for everyone and for every income:

Giving Altar Flowers

The flowers that flank the cross behind the altar are given each week by parishioners. Some parishioners choose to give their flowers in honor or in memory of a loved one near a birthday, anniversary or other date of significance. If you would like to give toward Altar Flowers, please use the Paypal button below to donate. If you would like your flowers to be given in honor or memory of someone, then please also fill out the form below. Flower arrangements are made at least one year in advance, so we are currently accepting flower donations for 2017. Members may see who is scheduled to give flowers this month on the Members' Page.
